Job Title : QA Tester/Performance Tester
Job Location : New York, NY 10011
Position Type : Contract
Responsibilities
Translate software specifications and user requirements into performance test scenarios;
Participate in design walk-through;
Develop performance test plans and other test artifacts;
Design, build and execute performance tests for both browser and non-browser applications;
Analyze test data to identify the cause and possible solutions for performance issues;
Provide comprehensive performance results reports to project developers and business users;
Conduct regressive performance tests to confirm application performance has not degraded;
Manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities;
Communicate project status to varying levels of management ;
Improve/introduce procedures and tools to further enhance the performance test effort for the SVT department;

Technical Skills Required
Detailed knowledge of Performance Test tools
Detailed knowledge of web and non-web application architecture
Working knowledge of Unix, Windows and lynx
Working knowledge of Websphere or Weblogic or .Net
Experience with Oracle 10 G or Microsoft MYSQL
Experience with MQ or equivalent messaging systems

Other Requirements
Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
Test Management Capabilities;
Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products;
Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at sound analysis and judgment;

Stock plan Admin is a single integrated system that handles equity administration, which includes record keeping for Stock Option and Restricted stock and Stock Purchase Plans.
Application provides Options, Restricted Stock and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) administration and record keeping services to US domestic and international corporate clients.

Skills Required:
• 5+ years of experience with DB2 for z/OS (mainframe) V8 and V9
• 5+ years of experience with MVS-z/OS environment
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and plan EXPLAIN output analyzes
• Experience in coding SQL queries (static and dynamic) and DB2 monitoring tools.
* DB2 DBA prior experience.
• Expert in JCL, application programs performance monitoring and tuning
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving DB2 related problems of a complex nature
