Our client in downtown NYC is seeking a FIX Connectivity Java Developer for a full-time role.
Requirements:
- Maintain client-to-client/broker FIX(4.2,4.4) connection
- Experience working with various FIX engine like Eltrader
- Developed connections to enable brokers and clients for Strategy, Multi asset and Algorithmic trading
- FIX customization and FIX messages analysis/debugging
- Created UNIX shell scripts to troubleshoot applications
- Fixed bugs , maintained and added new features to the existing system
- Interacted with customer facing teams, sales and client support to provide quick response to client’s needs.
- Resolved production failures support and analysis
- Troubleshooted FIX connectivity issues and session-and-application-level messaging errors
- Experience in working with VeriFIX, an end to end FIX testing tool
- Implemented different aspects of basket trading (pairs trading, multi-leg option,and algorithmic trading) Instrument
