Oracle Datawarehouse Developer, $100,000-$125,000
My client is a leading financial services institution located in Jersey City and they are currently looking for a Database Programmer to join their reporting & analytics team. This team works directly to support a variety of trading and execution systems and the reporting data warehouse system. All of these systems are tied into various high-touch, mission-critical financial applications.
Qualified candidates should have 5-7 years of hands-on industry experience working with Linux/Unix, Oracle 10g or 11g, PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting. Any additional experience working with data warehousing, reporting systems, and VLDBs are all plusses. Candidates should also have some experience with performance tuning and optimization. MSCS desired, BSCS or equivalent required.
The Database Programmer will participate in designing, developing, and supporting the company’s enterprise-level data warehouse, reporting and analytics system. The team communicates directly with the various business stakeholders and applicants will ideally have one year of experience in financial services (back office Equities, Options, Futures) or have experience with data warehouse development. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
