Application developer to work with a team of developers in the support and build out of the Primebrokerage Operations platform for Prime Brokerage. Role will be actively involved in the design and development of applications using technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate. Good skills in SQL and Database Design, Sybase Database and familiarities with Unix is a PLUS. Role will be required to actively communicate with teammates and management to understand and resolve issues surrounding new initiatives and support of existing platforms. Major Deliverable is for the team to revamp its model to support the Global Prime Brokerage Buildout.
Requirements
Information technology professional, with hands-on Application Design and Development experience.
– 5+ year of experience in Java/JEE technologies
– Ability to work under tight time constraints with changing requirements
– Knowledge of design patterns.
– Agile Software development lifecycle skills
– BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
– Experience in financial industry is a plus
– Excellent communication skills
– Prior Operations or PrimeBrokerage experience is helpful
